The Communications Director of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has said the club does not owe any player.
There have been reports that the reason why the performance of the Kotoko players has dipped is that the players feel they been cheated by the management of the club.
The players, according to the report, believe they were promised some money during the CAF Confederation Cup, however, they are yet to receive the money.
However, The Post understands that the agreement between the management and the players was that they will be given the money if they qualify to the quarter-final of the competition. Therefore, because they could not qualify from the group stage, they will not be given any money.
In an interview monitored by The Post, Duku said the bad performance of the players has got nothing to do with the money they got from “Africa” as they do not owe them as they have been paid the money they are supposed to be given.
