We had a peaceful congress – Asiedu Nketiah

The General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia has stated that the NDC had a successful regional election.

According to him, the only dismal incident was the accident which occurred in the Eastern Region while some party supporters were going to the election grounds.

The accident, he confirmed on Angel FM in Kumasi, led to the death of one of them.
Notwithstanding the accident, there were some misunderstandings in some areas in which they were able to solve before the elections started.
“We had a peaceful election”.
“Now that we are done with this,” he said, “it is left with the national elections.”

The national elections will be organized later this year to elect new officials to lead the National Democratic Congress.
