We should have beaten Kotoko by 3 goals – Champion

The Executive Chairman and bankroller of Obuasi Ashanti Gold, Dr Kwaku “Champion” Frimpong has said his club should have beaten Kotoko by 3 goals.

Champion made the comment during an interview on Fox FM and also revealed that the player who scored against Kotoko, Agyekum was signed by the current Kotoko coach, C.K Akonnor.

“Our win against Kotoko is called one corner,” Champion said and also added that “Kotoko were lucky” on the day because they defended very well.

“We should have scored 3.”

“We have another player called World Best. If he had played we would have scored more goals.”
Champion insisted that his side will still qualify and play in Africa next season because they are doing things “undercover.”
