A cannabis (wee) farmer has been arrested in the Brong Ahafo Region after a serious operation to clamp down on narcotics peddlers in the region.
John Kwabena Mosi, 48, was arrested in his house at Brodi, near Sampa in the Jaman North district after the police found 41 fertilizer mini bags containing dry leaves suspected to be cannabis which belongs to him.
Mosi admitted ownership and possession of the substance after police interrogated him.
Mosi told the police that he grows the cannabis in the middle of his cashew farm at Brodi.
He also told the police that he sells a bag for GHC 120 and GHC 150 to Ghanaians and Ivorians.
