Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has paid a courtesy call on former President, John Agyekum Kufuor at his residence in Accra.
The French man came to Ghana after he was given the Knight Grand Commander of the Humane Order of African Redemption by Liberian President George Weah on August 24, 2018.
In a tweet, the former Head of State stated “On 24th August 2018, I was called upon by Former Arsenal FC Manager Arsene Wenger at my residence,” however, he did not reveal what they discussed.

Wenger received the award alongside former coach of the Blackstars Claude Le Roy.
Weah was signed by Wenger to AS Monaco after a recommendation by Claude Le Roy in 1988. In 1995, Weah gave his FIFA World Footballer of the Year Award to Arsene Wenger saying he is the reason why he developed into a world class player.
