Wollacott ruled out of World Cup

Black Stars goalkeeper, Jojo Wollacott has been ruled out of the World Cup after sustaining an injury before his club, Charlton Athletic’s game against Burton Albion yesterday, myjoyonline.com reports.

The 26-year-old who has been Ghana’s first-choice keeper since making his debut in October 2021 against Zimbabwe injured his finger during warm-up.

He was expected to be named in the final 26-man squad on Monday for the tournament.
