In the neighborhood of Ayebeahwe Beposo, located in the Kwaebibirem Municipality of the Eastern Region, a tragic incident unfolded when the lifeless body of Mama Pat, a 74-year-old Nigerian female national who had been reported missing, was discovered. The discovery took place in a bush within the vicinity.
Mama Pat had been reported missing on Thursday, June 15, and it wasn’t until Sunday, June 18, that her lifeless body was found. Concerned about her disappearance, the relatives of Mama Pat reached out to Okyeame Nkrumah, the Opinion Leader in the Ayebeahwe Beposo community, seeking assistance from the locals in their search efforts.
After an extensive search, the residents noticed a pungent smell emanating from a particular area. Following the source of the odor, they made the distressing discovery of Mama Pat’s decomposing body. Okyeame Nkrumah promptly called upon the authorities to investigate the incident thoroughly and bring the perpetrators to justice.
He emphasized the importance of a police investigation to uncover the truth behind this heinous act and ensure that those responsible are held accountable for their actions. Okyeame Nkrumah revealed that the woman had been mercilessly killed, with her body mutilated and various body parts severed. Shockingly, one of her teeth had been extracted.
The prevailing belief among the locals is that Mama Pat was intentionally murdered and callously discarded in the vicinity. Okyeame Nkrumah pointed out that Mama Pat had employed several young individuals to work for her and expressed suspicions that they might be involved in her tragic demise.
The community now anxiously awaits a thorough investigation by the police, hoping that justice will be served and that the culprits will face the full force of the law for their horrific actions.
