Woman kills herself after her boyfriend told her to do an abortion

A 28-year old woman, Akua Agyemang has killed herself at Kona at Afigya-Sekyere in the Ashanti Region.

Agyemang drunk ‘parazone’ (a detergent) after her boyfriend told her to abort her pregnancy.

Agyemang after drinking the detergent started complaining of pain in her heart.

When she was taken to the hospital she lied to the doctor until about two hours later when she told another patient what she had done.

The patient called the nurses and they informed the doctor about what Akua Agyemang has said.

She was transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where she died later.
