Woman shot to death by boyfriend for breaking up with him in Kumasi

A young woman in her twenties has been brutally killed by her ex-boyfriend in Kumasi, Ghana. The man, identified only as Taacum, became enraged after their romantic relationship ended and his attempts to win her back failed. He shot the woman, known as Maa Adwoa, at least five times at Adum Dufie Towers in the Central Business District of Kumasi.

Sources say that the couple had a great relationship until Taacum accused Maa Adwoa of cheating on him. She denied the accusations, but he imposed restrictions on her movement and communication. In response, Maa Adwoa asked for a breakup, but her ex-boyfriend refused and warned of dire consequences if she left him.

Despite the warning, Maa Adwoa carried through with her breakup plan. Unfortunately, this only made Taacum angrier, and he tracked her down and killed her.
