A Dubai-based businesswoman, Yasmin Behzadi, is threatening to sue Ghanaian singer, King Promise after she accused him of neglect.
According to the woman, she invested $150, 000 in the singer during the early days of his career but the singer has ignored her after meeting “Killbeatz,” she told Hitz FM’s Andy Dosty.
She indicated she met King Promise who at that time was called Boy P through Sarkodie at a hotel and “after listening to him,” she “felt has got talent.”
Yasmin told Andy Dosty she even turned her house into a studio for Promise after signing him and helping him change his name from Boy P to King Promise.
King Promise, she delineated, started making huge demands after meeting Killbeatz and because she demands “didn’t make sense” to her, she was ignored.
“They were giving me a huge budget for promotions…which didn’t make sense to me.”
“Till today, [King] Promise hasn’t given me a call,” she said.
Yasmin who also said she believes King Promise is still her artiste told Andy Dosty she will soon take a legal action against the singer.
