Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Sogne Yacouba has reportedly told the club he will not extend his contract.
The Burkinabe striker, according to reports is not willing to play for the Porcupine Warriors again and has been pushing for a move to a new club.
Yacouba has a year left on his contract which he signed in 2018.
This week, Graphic Sports reported that Yacouba has turned down an improved contract from Kotoko which included accommodation and a car.
The official report from the club is that Zambian giant, Zesco United has officially shown interest in the former
Stade Malien striker although no agreement has been reached.
Also, it has been confirmed that the player and his team have told the management of the club that he wants to leave and that he has had offers from other clubs.
Yacouba returned to training on Thursday after undergoing surgery on his ankle and it is not known if he will feature in the club’s next game against Bechem United in Kumasi.
