Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Sogne Yacouba has informed the management of the club they should put his contract extension on hold.
According to the report, the Burkinabe forward whose contract will end in February 2020 met with the management of the club yesterday to discuss this contract extension but Yacouba and his team made the club understand that he wants to see out his contract with the Porcupine Warriors.
Yacouba, according to sources feels he has not been treated well at the club and has informed the club what he wants. Kotoko, on the other hand, placed their offer on the table but the two parties could not reach an agreement.
Kotoko’s arch-rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak and their regional rivals, Obuasi Ashanti Gold SC have contact with Yacouba and both clubs are hoping to secure his signature.
