Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Sogne Yacouba has through his manager asked the club to give him a better accommodation.
The Burkinabe striker has been living at Sports Hotel at Asokwa in Kumasi since he arrived at the club.
According to his manager, Jesse Jantuah, his client needs a befitting accommodation as his wife and parents want to visit him.
Jantuah told Oyerepa FM that the management of the club has been made aware of Yacouba’s demand and they hope they would find a solution to it soon.
“Sogne Yacouba has notified Kotoko management that he is unhappy and has explained to them why he doesn’t want to continue living in Sports Hotel but rather prefers a permanent home in the city.
“His wife and parents wanted to visit him but they couldn’t come down to Kumasi and with his religion, his living at the facility has been uncomfortable,” Jantuah noted.
On Yacouba’s request to leave the club, Jantuah said that he will not force his way out of the club as he still loves the club.
“It’s not true that Sogne Yacouba has decided to terminate his contract. The only thing that can keep him away from Kotoko is either an injury or a good deal that both Kotoko and our camp will be satisfied with,” he asserted.
