Video sharing platform, YouTube has blocked Ghanaian singer, Mr Drew’s latest single Eat after Nigerian-American singer and actor, Rotimi reported him for copyright infringements.
The song which featured Stonebwoy had garnered over 150, 000 views when the video was released two days ago until it was pulled down by YouTube.
“This video contains content from EMPIRE, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds,” YouTube wrote after it was pulled down.
Drew is believed to have sampled two songs by Rotimi, In my bed ft. Wale and Love Riddim from the Empire TV series.
After the video was pulled down, a video was posted on twitter in which someone showed the chat between him and Rotimi to prove he is the one who notified Rotimi of Drew’s song.
