Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach, Kjetil Zachariassen was not happy with how his former employers terminated his contract and his manager has revealed he told the management members of the club to resign.
After Kotoko’s elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup and the Champions League, news of his departure from the club dominated sports headlines in the country.
Zachariassen was given a week off but when he returned to Ghana on Sunday, his contract was terminated less than a week later.
His agent, Charles Kouadio in an interview on Oyerepa FM in Kumasi said his client was upset with how the management handled his issue to the extent that he told them to resign.
“Yesterday Coach was telling them if you people want me to me go you should also go because you people are not capable,” he revealed.
Zachariassen was given a 3-year contract but his contract was terminated in the fourth month.
