The fans of Zambia’s Zesco United have offered their full support to Kumasi Asante Kotoko ahead of the final group game match on Sunday.
Zesco failed to qualify to the quarter-final stage of the competition after losing to rivals, Nkana FC last Sunday.
Since then the fans of Zesco United have told their team to lose to Kotoko so that Nkana FC will not get the opportunity to make it to the next stage of the competition.
Some of the fans have the club president to sack the coach should he beat Kotoko.
Although Nkana is currently leading the group with 9 points, should they lose to Al Hilal in Sudan and Kotoko should beat Zesco United it will mean that Nkana will be out of the competition.
However, a report from Zambia indicates that the Zesco team is currently divided.
While some want them to beat Kotoko to please their fans, others believe they should use their second team to fans the Porcupine Warriors since it will be difficult for Nkana to get a point in Sudan.
With the division in the team, Kotoko can take advantage of it and get all the three points in the group to make it to the next stage of the competition.
