Former Accra Hearts of Oak player, Amankwaa Mireku has said some of the current players of the club do not deserve to wear the rainbow jersey.
According to him, the platform [the club] is bigger than the players and as a result they are unable to play what the fans expect of them.
Mireku added that what hurt him most is the fact that nowadays, the players are acting like they are bigger than the club.
“Some of us we nobody” but through Hearts of Oak, we have gotten some recognition, he said.
Mireku further added that for the players to give their best the fans would have to give them their support as they are nothing with them.
