Nana Agraada, who was arrested recently, shocked everyone when she announced that she had given up her fraudulent activities and is now a child of God. Many people were left wondering whether her reform to Christianity was a genuine one, or just a disguise to mask up her heartless agenda of scamming unsuspecting individuals.
The question though remains: Why convert to Christianity and suddenly claim to be a prophet of God? Well, the answer to that will be easy if we examine the lifestyle and dominant attitudes of the many prophets and men of God around us.
It is no secret, that acclaimed prophets and pastors of God are teeming around us, even more in recent times. But what are their dominant attitudes, lifestyle, and activities? They cunningly Rob their congregation in the name of tithes, offertory, monthly dues, consultation fees, miracle products, and several others. They end up leaving congregants penniless every time, while enriching themselves and living lavish lifestyles from the monies of their innocent congregants. If any one dares to complain among the congregation, the famous mantra is preached: “Touch not my announced.” For this reason, they are courageously continuing in these fraudulent acts.
That notwithstanding, many people are privy to the fraudulent activities of these men of God, and Nana Agraada is no exception. Her conversion to Christianity and a self-acclaimed servant of God is just a disguise to keep on in her act of defrauding others. She has noticed how these men of God are untouchable and immune to arrest in this country. She is not dumb. She knows if she admits to being born again, Ghanaians, especially Christians, will be full of admiration for her for giving up her life to Christ, and they will flock her church to support her Christian life. Nana Agraada knows the church is the new cool, the new way to enrich one’s self quickly, the legal illegal way to steal from people while being immune to query and arrest. Which scammer wouldn’t want that peace of mind as they keep engaging in nefarious activities? All of them do.
Nana Agraada is no exception. She has simply stepped up her game, making herself immune to query and arrest by converting to Christianity and claiming to be an Evangelist. Certainly, this is just a cover up for her to keep on in her ill activities.
