Former Ghana Football Association spokesman Ibrahim Saanie Daara has hinted at the appointment of sports journalist Collins Atta Poku as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aduana Stars.
Although the club has not confirmed this news yet, Saanie congratulated the journalist and welcomed him to football administration.
Saanie took to Twitter to write: “I am hearing some exciting news about my bro @PapaPoku being appointed CEO of Aduana Stars. Welcome to football administration! It’s tougher than you think, but I believe you will deliver. Good luck, bro.”
If Atta Poku’s appointment is confirmed, he will transition from a board member to overseeing all of the club’s affairs. Previously, he served as an international relations officer.
Atta Poku is a well-known journalist in Ghana with a strong reputation built through an impressive broadcast career.
He is considered one of Ghana’s most skilled sports analysts and is well-versed in modern football administration.
