Germany out of the World Cup

The 2014 World Cup winners, Germany are out of the World Cup. The defending champions lost to South Korea did not send them out but rather Sweden’s 3-0 win over Mexico eliminated them.

South Korea, however, beat the World Champions by 2-0 to place third in the group.

Germany was tipped to advance to the next stage but their performance has shocked the world.

They lost their first game by a goal to zero against Mexico and bounced back by beating Sweden 2-1.

Toni Kross broke the heart of Germans when they gave the ball away in the first half which resulted in a goal. In added time, Kross scored from the free kick to win the game for his country.

Now, the world will have to wait for a new World Champion.
