Grant blames the pitch and the weather for Hearts’ loss

The coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kim Grant after his team lost to Elmina Sharks blamed the pitch and the weather for the loss.

Hearts lost by a goal to nil and Grant said the length of the grass and the heat is the reason why his side lost, as well as, not having the luck to score a goal.

Grant also said the welfare of the players should be taken into consideration as the starting time of the matches is not helpful as “the heat is a lot.”

Grant said the heat affected both teams as they were “lethargic” and also playing two games in four days was also not helpful.
