The Three Lions have punished Panama by beating them by 6 goals to 1 at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium.
John Stones headed the ball into the net in the 8th minute followed by a penalty kick by Harry Kane in the 22nd minute.
Jess Lingard who was penalized for the penalty kick got the chance to score his own goal in the 36th minute.
Manchester City’s John Stones made it 4 in the 40th minute while Kane scored another penalty in the 45th minute.
England dominated the first half with Panama getting less touch of the ball.
In the 62nd minute, Loftus Cheek’s long-range shot deflected off Harry Kane’s heels to make it 6. VAR checks proved Harry to be on-side. He was substituted even before the game resumed.
When everyone thought Panama was going to concede more goals, they scored their World Cup goal in the 78th minute.
