Kotoko investigating the leaked audio of Dr. Kyei

Kumasi Asante Kotoko, according to reports gathered is investing how the Executive Chairman of the club, Dr. Kwame Kyei was recorded while speaking with the playing and the technical body of the team during a crisis meeting.

In the audio, Dr. Kyei was heard saying he is the one people insult when the players play their “foolish football.” He also told the players to hand in their letters if they feel they do not want to play for the team again.

According to the report, Dr. Kyei and the management are not happy with how the public got to know of the meeting and how someone recorded the Chairman.

While some people find nothing wrong with the person who recorded the meeting, others think the club should punish the person who did the recording.

Dr. Kyei met with the team after they lost to Division One club, Asokwa Deportivo in the MTN FA Cup especially when they are the defending champions.

Apart from the unexpected elimination in the FA Cup, Kotoko has scored less than four goals in the last six games.
