Max K agrees to join Kotoko but?

Maxwell Konadu has agreed to return to Kumasi Asante Kotoko as the head coach of the two times African Champions.

Kotoko has been on the lookout for a coach since the club parted ways with Kjetil Zachariassen last month.

Kotoko contacted their former coach and player, Maxwell Konadu to return to the club and the former Ghana national team assistant coach could not say no although he did not apply for the job.

However, the announcement of his return to the club has delayed as the two parties have not been able to agree on whether Konadu should bring his backroom staff or he will have to work with those already at the club.

Also, the two parties have not been able to agree on Konadu’s salary.

Kotoko is expected to announce Konadu as the new coach next week should the two parties finally agree on the salary and the technical team.
