Two young men have been arrested for attempting to rape a blind woman who is over 90 years.
The old woman, Eno Afua Ampofowaa was saved by a man called Kwabena who is a lotto agent and has his kiosk close to his mother’s house.
According to Kwabena, he saw the two boys standing close to his mother’s house and conversing. He later saw them move to a different spot.
Kwabena who was at his shop with a friend was told by a friend the boys trying to enter the house. Kwabena indicated he did not believe his friend as he did not understand why the two boys would enter the house of Eno.
A few minutes later, they heard the Eno shouting and calling for help.
They entered the house and found the two boys trying to undress the Eno while one of the boys was half naked.
Narrating her part of the story, the old woman said when the boys entered the house she thought ‘it was his son Joe.’
‘The boys fondled my breast, vagina and started undressing me. I did not know whether they were going to kill me or kill me with sex.’
‘I started calling for my son Joe until Kwabena came to my rescue.’
Eno said she shouted, ‘Joe come. They are going to kill me with sex.’
The incident happened when Joe left his mother’s house to get food for her as the day was a market day.
The unnamed young men were sent to the police station after they were caught in the act.
Eno Afua Ampofowaa has adviced ‘young men to find a job, respect old people and stop doing stupid things.’
