Les Blues of France has beaten the Red Devils of Belgium by a goal to zero to make it to the World Cup final for the first time since 2006.
The game between France and Belgium started with both sides in good form.
The French made it to the semi-finals after beating Uruguay whiles the Red Devils of Belgium eliminated Brazil.
The last time the two teams met at the World Cup was in Mexico 1986 with the French winning by 4 goals to 2.
Belgium got the first clear chance in the game but they could not convert the chance and also got most of the chances.
Giroud’s header from Pavard’s cross was not good enough to beat Courtois.
With a fairly balanced first half, the French through their defender Samuel Umtiti scored a header to put his side into the lead.
Fellaini’s header in the 64 minute went wide as he could not direct the ball into the net.
Mertens’ introduction in the second half enforced the Belgium attacker as he was given the job to cross the ball into the French box for Feliani and Lukaku to head.
However, the French defence was too solid for the Belgians to penetrate. In the 80th minute, Carassco came on for Feliani but his involvement could not change anything.
Mbappe was shown the yellow card in time added on for time delaying.
France will play either England or Croatia in the final on Sunday.
