Former Asante Kotoko Coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor is reported to have initiated proceedings at the Ghana Football Association against the Porcupines over breaches of his employment contract as head coach of the club.
Greater Accra Representative and a management member of Asante Kotoko, Nana Kwame Danquah also revealed this on Happy FM’s ‘Anopa Bosuo Sports’.
According to Nana Kwame, CK Akonnor is demanding 2 years salary, league trophy cash, and CAF Confederations Cup money Zone cash.
Kotoko is set to appear before the committee on 15th August 2019.
The ex-Ghana international who was relieved of his head coaching duties in July, about nine months into his three-year contract, is accusing the club of material default which should be followed by compensation damages.
