Workers at Ghana Ports and Harbor have apologized to their Chairman, Peter Mac Manu for the accusations they levelled against him.
On the 24 May 2018, workers of the union held a press conference and accused Mac Manu and some members of this family.
The union, yesterday, held another press conference to apologize to him and his family.
At the press conference, the leader of the union stated that he has been noticed that although he had some concerns, they failed to use the appropriate channel to voice out their concern.
‘We, therefore, withdraw the allegations against Mr Peter Mac Manu in particular, his wife and sons and all reservedly apologize to them’.
They, therefore, apologized for ‘the embarrassment and inconvenience’ their press conference caused.
John Asif, the leader of the workers union apologized on behalf of all the workers and also asked for ‘peace and solidarity with their social partners so that they can achieve their goals’.
