Asante Kotoko coach, C.K Akonnor has revealed the extent to which he goes to make sure his players are in their right mind so as to get the best out of them.
There have been rumours that C.K is at loggerheads with his players and it has lead to unrests in the dressing room.
C.K during the post-match press conference after their game against Berekum Chelsea which they won by two goals said “what you hear outside is for you” as he prefers “to go deep with the players.”
He added that he likes to speak with their “families” and even their “wives” and “girlfriends”.
Kotoko currently tops Zone A of the Special Competition with 13 points after beating Berekum Chelsea in Kumasi on Sunday. They will play Berekum Chelsea again on Sunday to start the second round of the competition.
