A 25-year old man, Evans Tesigbe has been remanded for stabbing and murdering a 26-year old man, Mawuko Ajalu for insulting his girlfriend.
According to reports, Evans and his girlfriend, Maame Kpami met Evans’ friend Mawuko while returning from a hotel in Aflao.
Mawuko is said to have asked Maame Kpami out which she said no as she was dating his friend, Evans.
Mawuko, according to the report, insulted Kpami after she rejected him.
The report indicates that Evans was made aware of the situation by another friend of his whose name has been given as Biggie.
Biggie incited Evans to take action as Mawuko has insulted him and his girlfriend.
Evans then attacked his friend Mawuko and stabbed him with his scissors.
He was arrested and taken to the Aflao Circuit Court where he was remanded.
