Kennedy Agyapong and Sam George who are both Members of Parliament Assin Central and Ningo-Prampram respectively, today nearly traded blows in Parliament over a disagreement about the StarTimes deals.
Kennedy Agyapong, who is the Chairman of the Communications Committee of Parliament met with the members of which Sam George is a member to discuss the much talked about Star Times deal.
The deal which was first given to a Ghanaian company called K-NET has lost the contract on grounds which the opposition NDC believes it is unfair.
Kennedy Agyapong also believes the company treated his TV station NET 2 unfairly and has publicly made his feelings towards the company known. According to him, when K-NET was in charge of the deal, they took his station off its platform.
Sam George, on the other hand, believes NET 2 was taken off because the station could not pay K-NET.

The two MPs held on to their views and this made the meeting difficult to go on and nearly ended in the trading of the blows.
However, calm has been restored and the unfortunate incident which happened in the presence of visitors who were present at the meeting will be resolved internally.
